Position Summary
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of the company, interacting directly with patients as part of routine care and life-defining health decisions. The PSR II is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while adhering to established procedures. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, patient confidentiality, and strong customer service skills.
PSR IIs may be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Phlebotomy

Draw quality blood samples in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner

Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing

Explain procedures clearly to patients to create trust and confidence

Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections
-
Verify patient demographics and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Experience Requirements

1–3 years of phlebotomy experience.
