An established accounting, tax, and advisory firm serving entrepreneurs, business owners, and high net worth individuals is adding a Senior Accountant to its growing team. This is a client facing role with real ownership, you'll lead the accounting function for a portfolio of business clients, partner closely with the tax and advisory teams, and have a defined path toward senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or multi client firm background strongly preferred
Active CPA required; EA considered
Small business and corporate client experience required
Tax planning exposure required
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and advanced Excel
Strong client communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle accounting for a portfolio of business clients
Prepare and analyze financial statements, lead month end/year end close
Maintain GL integrity, reconciliations, and internal controls
Deliver financial reporting and KPI analysis to support client decisions
Supervise staff accountants and bookkeepers
Collaborate with tax and advisory teams on integrated client service
