A highly regarded, full-service California law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Business & Commercial Litigation practice in San Diego. The firm is known for its collaborative, team-oriented culture and offers associates the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility while working alongside experienced litigators on sophisticated matters.
This position offers hands-on involvement across all stages of litigation, representing clients in complex business disputes in both state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and client correspondence
- Managing and responding to written discovery
- Supporting and participating in depositions
- Assisting with oral arguments and trial/arbitration preparation
- Handling day-to-day case management responsibilities
Candidate Profile:
- 3–4 years of experience in business/commercial litigation
- Strong writing and analytical skills, with experience drafting substantive motions and briefs
- Exposure to the full litigation lifecycle, including discovery and pre-trial preparation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative, proactive approach to casework
- Strong academic credentials
- Admission to the California Bar
