Job Title: People Operations Associate

Compensation: $90,000 - 120,000 Base Salary Equity

The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to become a foundational member of a high-impact People team at a company experiencing significant growth. Acting as a trusted partner across the entire employee lifecycle, you'll own critical People Operations functions including onboarding, benefits, immigration, compliance, and HR systems. Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end onboarding and create an exceptional new hire experience
- Manage and improve core People Operations processes across benefits, HRIS, compliance, and employee lifecycle events
- Coordinate international hiring, contractor management, and global employment operations
- Partner with immigration counsel to support visa and immigration processes
- Maintain accurate people data, reporting, and documentation across systems
- Build scalable workflows, trackers, playbooks, and operational infrastructure
- Support compliance initiatives including employment documentation, audits, and policy administration
- Partner with leadership on special projects that improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness
- Help coordinate team events, offsites, and culture-building initiatives
- Identify operational gaps and proactively implement solutions before they become problems
Ideal Background
- 2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting Operations, or startup operations
- Experience supporting a high-growth startup or scaling technology company
- Strong exposure to onboarding, benefits administration, HR systems, and employee operations
- Experience working across multiple entities, countries, or international employment programs is highly desirable
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and operational workstreams
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building processes where none exist
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information
