About the Role
- We’re looking for a People & Operations Associate to join our early-stage AI startup in San Francisco. You’ll be the backbone of our daily operations — managing HR processes, office administration, and supporting recruitment while helping us scale our team and build strong workplace culture.
What You’ll Do
- Own core HR operations: onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and compliance.
- Support recruitment: scheduling, candidate coordination, and onboarding.
- Maintain and implement HR policies and internal processes.
- Handle office admin tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Partner with leadership to drive employee satisfaction and culture initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of HR or admin experience (startup or tech environment a plus).
- Solid knowledge of benefits administration and labor compliance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong communication skills — able to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting in a fast-moving environment.
