HR Coordinator
A top-tier, mid-sized hedge fund is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator to join its growing team.
The position is heavily focused on interview scheduling and candidate coordination, supporting a robust hiring pipeline across the firm.
Location: Midtown East, New York City
Schedule: In-office, 5 days/week (Monday–Friday)
Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM – 6:00/6:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience - flexible)

Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume interview scheduling and candidate coordination
- Support an active recruiting pipeline handling a high volume of candidates and interview pipeline across many roles
- Own daily communications regarding candidate flow, interview schedules, and pipeline updates
- Assist with onboarding processes and related project management
- Coordinate mid-year and year-end HR processes
- Partner closely with senior leadership on recruiting efforts
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of HR Coordinator or Recruiting Coordinator experience
- Prior experience within financial services required (hedge fund strongly preferred) – must have in-office experience, not from remote environments as this is a high-touch role
- Proven ability to manage high-volume scheduling and administrative workflows
- Highly proactive with a strong ability to drive outcomes and manage competing priorities
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and intellectual flexibility
- Confident and assertive, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and personable with a warm, professional demeanor
- Process-driven but adaptable when priorities shift
