Housekeeper | Atherton, CA | Target $50/hour Benefits & Bonus

A private UHNW household in Atherton is seeking a meticulous and self-directed evening Housekeeper to join their estate team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautifully maintained residence alongside a collaborative and professional staff, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, takes pride in maintaining immaculate spaces, and brings a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and comfortable working overnight hours with minimal supervision. Candidates with experience in luxury hotels or high-end hospitality environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

Schedule

Full-time overnight schedule, typically:
• 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Shared coverage with an existing Night Housekeeper (approximately 3 nights working together, 2 nights independently)

What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed nightly cleaning and upkeep of the residence to the highest standards

• Ensure all common areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms are immaculate and fully reset for the following day

• Handle laundry, linens, and garment care as needed

• Maintain organization of household spaces, storage areas, and supplies

• Identify and address cleaning or maintenance needs proactively

• Work quietly and efficiently to maintain a peaceful overnight environment

• Collaborate with the household team while also operating independently during solo shifts

• Follow established household protocols and maintain consistency in service standards

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in luxury hotel housekeeping or high-end hospitality environment strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Proactive mindset with strong initiative

• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy

• Comfortable working overnight hours in a quiet environment

• Strong organizational skills and consistency in execution

• Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate with existing staff

Compensation & Benefits
