They are seeking an experienced Lead Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the client lifecycle. This onsite, full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity is based in Santa Clara, CA with commission opportunities available upon permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned customer accounts.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate calibration service schedules with internal teams.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on purchase orders, and manage contract renewals.
- Generate invoices and monitor payment status.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Track account activity and maintain accurate records within Salesforce and other CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure projects and customer requests are completed efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and support overall business growth.
- Communicate progress on customer initiatives and account activity to leadership.
- Balance multiple priorities while maintaining outstanding attention to detail and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in B2B account management, customer success, or technology sales.
- Experience managing relationships with technology industry clients.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple customer accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with customers and colleagues.
- Positive, professional, and service-oriented approach.
