We are a manufacturing company that specializes in the heat treatment and coating of automotive components. We have operations in Pontiac, Homer, and Puebla Mexico. Job Responsibilities:
- Apply specialized coating to automotive components
- Utilize HMI to adjust equipment operation
- Operation of automation equipment to apply coating
- Adjusting pressures and parameters to ensure a high-quality product
- Measurement and inspection of coated components
- Problem solving to keep uptime of the coating line maximized
- Properly handle waste that is generated as a by-product of the coating process
- Occasional general labor is required

Requirements:
- 1 year of previous coating and/or machine operator experience (preferred)
- High school diploma and/or GED equivalent
- Must successfully pass operator evaluation at the end of the training period
- Perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Possess the ability to read and interpret documents, procedure manuals, and safety literature.
- Possess adequate written and oral communication skills to communicate well with other team members
- Possess the ability to process basic math calculations
- Reliable transportation
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, squat, walk, finger/handle/feel, bend, balance and kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
