These positions are long-term, full-time jobs with full-time benefits. Our company is a multi-location, well established heat treat business dating back to 1964. We are currently looking for individuals with outstanding work ethic, reliable, and are looking to grow within the company long term! WEEKLY PAY!!
Entry level as we will train everyone in material handling, with a strong preference for individuals with Hi-Lo/Forklift experience.
Principal Purpose of Job- Assist in heat treat shop activities by performing the following duties:
Responsibilities and Duties-
~Complete incoming inspection of parts to determine the quantity and weight of parts and to note any damaged, defective, or suspect material.
~Unloads materials, parts, or products from containers, pallets, or trucks onto fixtures or baskets
~Complete all necessary paperwork to document the different phases of processing.
~Maintains a clean work area to facilitate a safe and clean work environment.
~Maintains a conscientious attitude, display initiative, and work as a team-oriented participant.
Qualifications-
~Must be able to read and interpret documents, manuals, and safety literature.
~Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
~Must have excellent attendance and reliable transportation.
~Must be able to do basic math.
Physical Demands-
While performing duties of this job; the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, and kneel. The employee must frequently lift up to 25 pounds on average, and occasionally lift 50 pounds.
This is a long-term and permanent position that will lead to fast raises past the $15 starting wage once we see the type of work you're capable of!
Day Shift: 6AM-6PM
Night Shift: 6PM-6AM
- 6 paid holidays –New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Up to 160 hours of Vacation pay depending on your length of employment with the company.
