What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at Career Connection Network?
Perform accounting and financial tasks including, but not limited to, client billing and vendor/consultant invoice management. Preparation and issuance of client invoices. Handle vendor invoices and vendor account management. Support preparation of financial reports and filings. Support special studies and financial analyses. Handle compliance reporting as required under client contracts with state and other government agencies. Provide coverage and backup support to administrative team members as needed. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred 2-4 years' experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe with the ability to learn new software Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
