Transportation Specialist - Personal Care

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Specialist - Personal Care Concierge to join our team. This role involves providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services for clients requiring personal care transportation. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. This role is a 1099 independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to and from appointments or activities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting clients with boarding, disembarking, and providing support as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns or special needs.
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance reports as required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving, delivery, bus driving, or commercial driving helpful
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach toward clients requiring personal care transportation.
• Your own reliable transportation to transport and commute to various work locations as needed. This position is vital in supporting our community by providing dependable transportation services tailored to the needs of our clients requiring personal care assistance. It's like ride share with a purpose!
• Successful completion of background check, motor vehicle check.
• Must have auto liability and appropriate coverage of insurance for drivers and passengers.
• Auto must pass safety inspection.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
