CARE of Southeastern Michigan is looking for a friendly, professional, and responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of program-related administrative and clerical tasks. The individual will provide support to our employees and managers, assist with program coordination, and manage documentation and reports according to the agency. The individual will provide phone support to persons served and community members looking for resources and programming to meet their needs.
Required Experience:
- Experience in the behavioral health field or equivalent education.
- Provides daily telephonic support for the front office.
- Performs quality administrative tasks within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, persons served, and suppliers.
- Prepare program-related reports.
- Ability to adjust hours of work and daily job tasks based on the community needs, including some evenings and weekends.
- Completes documentation and reports according to the agency and funding source timeframes.
- Ensures assigned paperwork is completed and maintained in accordance with funding source standards and CARE of SEM policy and procedures.
- High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, or related software.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records or equivalent software
