Accounting Manager

Position Overview
Care Dimensions is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all accounting operations. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing the monthly close process, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger and financial reporting
- Manage and drive the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate results
- Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses
- Support budget development and financial planning activities
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high‑performing team environment
- Provide financial insights to leadership to support operational and strategic decisions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required
- CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in healthcare or nonprofit settings
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, general ledger, budgeting, and reporting
- Experience with financial analysis tools and accounting software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Experience
- Background in nonprofit, healthcare, or hospice accounting and financial reporting
