Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our Home Health team. This role will assist the DPCS (Director of Patient Care Services) and clinical staff with daily administrative operations to ensure efficient patient care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Assist DPCS with scheduling, documentation, and coordination of patient services
- Manage phone calls, emails, and general office communication
- Maintain and organize patient records and files (electronic and paper)
- Support intake, referrals, and insurance verification processes
- Coordinate with nurses, therapists, and field staff
- Perform general administrative duties (filing, data entry, scanning)
Qualifications:
- Prior administrative or healthcare office experience preferred
- Knowledge of home health operations is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
