The Role
We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role is essential to the success of our office and requires someone who is enthusiastic, energetic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accurately
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized front desk
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
- Support other areas of the office when necessary
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Patients feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive
- Appointment scheduling is efficient and accurate
- Insurance verification is completed correctly and on time
- Front desk operations run smoothly, even during busy periods
Requirements
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced, and sometimes stressful environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in an optometry, ophthalmology, or medical office
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Proficient in Armenian

Compensation
- $18–$26 per hour, based on experience
Multiple positions are available. Candidates with prior optometry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.0 per week
