Total Compensation: $115k-$150k annually

Position Summary
The Finance Consultant is responsible for business financial advisory and consulting of 12-15 Cardone Ventures’ clients and the monthly review and monitoring of their financial reports and accounts. As “fractional CFO” for the client, they will prepare activity reports, generate financial forecasts and leverage their finance and business experience to guide client investment decisions. The Finance Consultant will also investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers, or acquisitions.
This individual will play a key role in assisting Cardone Ventures’ clients with achieving their transformational growth plans by setting financial objectives and leveraging newly implemented tools such as PowerBI and AI. As part of a strategic client team, they will partner closely with the Operations and Marketing Consultants to accelerate execution, support decision-making, and drive results. This includes our company investing resources to create new client-facing financial dashboards designed to speed up insights, reduce administrative work, and focus efforts on what matters most—growing the client’s business.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- 3 months - Obtain a deep knowledge of client businesses, understating their key objectives and greatest opportunities to implement CV best practices to optimize as they relate to finance and accounting (Cash Flow, Forecasting, Budgeting, Pricing, Expense Management, profitability, etc).
- 6 months - Continued advisory and implementation while helping manage client financial health, budget, cash flow, margins and profitability while providing predictability in clients business for better and more informed decision making
- 1 year - Ensure that client business growth and optimization is occurring by improving profitability, by monitoring financial reporting. Structuring annual planning for clear target and goal setting for future growth.
- Ongoing - Consistently identifying ways for improved financial performance through strategic insights. Support expansion opportunities with new products/services, added locations, new markets etc.
OBJECTIVES
- Conduct weekly/monthly follow-up with clients to determine the effectiveness of financial plans and fine-tune the tactics needed to increase profitability
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional team, including Operations and Marketing to develop monthly strategies, quarterly plans, and annual plans for clients
- Drive plans for major financial strategies, spending, systems management, financial processes/controls for clients
- Optimize and analyze income statements, balance sheets, budgets, forecasts, and charts of accounts for clients
- Manage the quarterly/annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, resource planning and financial review process for assigned clients
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, activity reports, and financial forecasts for clients
- Create incentive compensation plans for clients’ team members
- Collaborate with clients to set short- and long-term financial goals
- Create and deliver financial details and summaries to Cardone Ventures’ Leadership Team and clients, as needed
COMPETENCIES
- Deep understanding of a client’s full financial landscape, including revenue streams, margin analysis, cash flow, and overall alignment to strategic business goals
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), develop complex financial models, and build budgets and reporting packages that inform executive-level decisions
- High emotional intelligence with a willingness to develop deep interpersonal relationships
- Skilled in communicating financial concepts to non-financial business owners and elevating client financial acumen through consultative partnership
- Experience guiding clients through month-end close processes and financial best practices, including transitions between cash and accrual-based accounting Ability to design performance-based incentive structures aligned to budgets, team roles, and measurable KPIs
- Proficient in Excel with intermediate to advanced functions to streamline reporting and drive data efficiency
Education And Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or accounting.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models that drive strategic business decisions
- Proven leadership in fast-paced, startup-like environments, driving strategy, team building, and scalable processes
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is preferred.
