Full time opening for a Registered Nurse
The ideal candidate will be responsible and professional while executing and monitoring patients during stress testing and tilt table tests. Candidate must be compassionate and able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
Responsibilities:
Working in the Nuclear Stress Lab, candidate is responsible for performing stress testing, stress echoes, and tilt tables which includes monitoring patient’s condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians. Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts. Chart prep is essential to this position. Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.). Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
Must be ACLS certified. Supervise and train LPNs and/or CMAs
Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
