Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facilities Lead to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, technical expertise in industrial and building systems, and a commitment to ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. As Facilities Lead, you will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise staff, and implement projects that enhance facility performance across our communities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate assigned facility projects and maintenance activities.
Pre-Employment Screening
All candidates receiving an employment offer must submit a pre-employment screening. The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.

Responsibilities
Coordinate assigned facility projects and maintenance activities.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and monitor completion of scheduled tasks.
- Conduct facility assessments and identify maintenance, safety, and compliance concerns.
- Assist with Joint Commission, Physical Environment, Life Safety, OSHA, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Review work orders and assist with prioritization of maintenance activities.
- Coordinate service activities with vendors and contractors as assigned.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, inventories, and related documentation.
- Assist with emergency preparedness, weather response, and facility recovery activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Facilities Technicians.
- Participate in on-call rotations as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification preferred.
- Three to five years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and building systems.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
