Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers
- Implement integrated service delivery aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, DOH Article 47 Guidelines, and CMCS policies
- Recognize and support the individual needs of each child's culture, language, and abilities
- Establish daily routines and smooth transitions that foster emotional security
- Create nurturing, responsive interactions and environments
- Accurately document developmental progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD (TSG) and ChildPlus on a weekly basis
- Caring, upbeat personality
- Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Development
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with eligibility for a study plan
- Previous experience in a Head Start Program or other Early Childhood setting preferred
- Minimum two years' experience meeting position competencies
- Daily access to reliable transportation to Bronx, NY
- Flexibility with assigned work location(s)
- Ability to pass and maintain acceptable record related to the mandated criminal background check process

- 15 Days PTO per year (accrual begins on day one); 20 Days PTO after 12 months
