Cardinal McCloskey Community Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician to join our dedicated team at the McCloskey Cares Clinic in the South Bronx. This vital role supports adults, children, and their caregivers through therapeutic services and crisis intervention, helping to strengthen families and promote mental wellness in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy across age groups.
- Deliver mental health crisis intervention services as needed.
- Complete initial treatment plans within 30 days of admission and update every 6 months.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including weekly progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with treatment team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in High Risk meetings and provide consultation to staff.
- Conduct collateral sessions with biological and foster families as appropriate.
- Caring, upbeat personality.
- Master's level clinician with a degree in social work, mental health counseling; Licensure required; Limited Permit, LMSW
- Minimum two years' experience providing clinical assessments/treatments, case management services for children/adolescents and Families
- Knowledge of the complex issues presented by children and families who are involved in the child welfare system.
- Have some working knowledge of the Children's systems, including ACS, OMH, and DOE.
- Familiarity with OMH operated Article 31 clinics, Part 599 regulations is preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
