At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services.
As a Homefinder, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and nurturing homes for children in foster care. Working within the Homefinding Department, you will collaborate closely with Outreach Recruiters, foster parent applicants, certified foster parents, and case planning teams to complete initial certifications and annual recertifications in compliance with all OCFS and ACS regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field; Master's Degree Preferred
- Bilingual, English/Spanish required
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Foster Care/Adoption and the Child Welfare System
- Experience in writing Home Studies (psychosocial assessment) preferred
- Experience in conducting and writing annual foster parent Re-certifications preferred
