What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent - Commercial Construction/QC position at CARCON Industries & Construction?
The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations to ensure construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of structural and architectural elements such as partitions, enclosures, and finished surfaces to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Review electrical installations including conduit, wiring, equipment, and terminations to confirm compliance with NEC and project standards.
- Perform comprehensive building system inspections across multiple trades to ensure quality and safety requirements are consistently met.
- Document deficiencies, issue quality reports, and verify corrective actions have been completed.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and support quality audits as required.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality concerns.
- Assist in closeout activities including punch list verification and acceptance testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
