Carbone Fine Food is hiring an experienced Trade Promotions Manager to join our team!
The Trade Promotions Manager will support Carbone Fine Food' trade investment activities
across customers and channels. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management,
tracking, and reporting of trade spend, ensuring accuracy in promotional accounting and timely
reconciliation of trade activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trade Spend Management & Tracking
• Track and manage trade spend across customers and channels versus budget
• Maintain accurate records of promotional programs, funding levels, and customer
deductions
• Process and reconcile trade claims, deductions, and chargebacks in a timely manner
• Support phasing and reporting of trade budgets throughout the year
Promotional Planning Support
• Assist in maintaining promotional calendars and customer program documentation
• Enter and update promotional plans and pricing actions within the TPM system (Vividly)
• Ensure trade-related data is accurate, current, and properly categorized
Forecast Accuracy & Reporting
• Maintain accurate gross sales and trade spend forecasts, updated regularly in
partnership with the Sales team
• Ensure forecast inputs reflect current promotional plans, customer programs, and any
changes in pricing or volume
• Reconcile forecast versus actuals and clearly document and communicate variances
• Prepare regular trade spend reports by customer, channel, and tactic
• Support post-promotion analysis by compiling POS and internal data
• Assist in pulling and organizing syndicated data (SPINS, Circana/IRI) as needed
Cross-Functional Support
• Partner with Sales and Finance to ensure trade activities are accurately reflected in
financial records
• Respond to internal requests for trade data, reporting, and documentation
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate trade spend inputs
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3-5 years of experience in trade promotion management, accounting, or commercial
finance, preferably within CPG
• Experience processing deductions, claims, or trade spend reconciliation
• Familiarity with TPM platforms (Vividly experience a plus)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annual base salary. In addition, this role is bonus eligible.
