Promotions Manager

SALARY RANGE: $46,350 – $71,070

LICENSE STATUS: NON-KEY
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Vice President- Business Development, the Promotions Manager- Gaming is responsible for the planning and implementation of video gaming promotional activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
A personable and outgoing personality. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with the public, patrons, and employees. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, various computer applications, and other related software.
Acceptable Training And Experience
A two (2) year degree in Marketing from an accredited college or university, plus experience in the gaming industry, or a combination of training and experience in Marketing totaling three (3) years. Gaming experience is preferred. Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Non-Key Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.
Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is a moderately sedentary role; however, some physical tasks are required. This may require the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds at a time in order to move inventory and set up/tear down marketing events, and bend or stand as necessary. Effective communication is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

- Recommend, develop, and implement promotional campaigns to achieve desired goals.
- Assist in the implementation of the Player Tracking system and other Marketing software.
- Evaluate and prepare reports detailing the success of the promotion/marketing campaign.
- Perform marketing duties and functions relating to the live racing, OTB, gaming and hotel operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
