THE ROLE
Carbone Fine Food is looking for an AP Specialist to own the accounts payable function and support the broader finance team. You will manage the full AP lifecycle, from invoice receipt through payment execution, while supporting month-end close activities and maintaining clean, accurate vendor records. The right candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in NetSuite, and thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment. This is a fully remote role with a preference for candidates based in the tri-state NYC area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the end-to-end AP process, including invoice review, coding, approval routing, and timely posting
• Prepare and execute vendor payments in accordance with company policies, including remittance and backup documentation
• Audit and process the corporate Amex bill
• Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and 1099 records
• Monitor account balances, track expenses, and prepare account analyses
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Record month-end accruals
• Support fieldwork for financial and operational audits
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial information
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
• 3-5 years of general accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable
• CPG experience in food and beverage preferred (2 years)
• NetSuite experience required (2 years)
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas
• Experience with Ramp, Vividly, and True Commerce is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and communication skills
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a small-team environment

Compensation: Base pay for this role will be $60,000 - $70,000 annually and will be offered depending on job-related skills and experience. This role is bonus-eligible.
