What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Production Specialist position at Captivated Content?
Description
Captivated Content is growing, and we’re looking for a Full-Time Video Production Specialist to help us create meaningful, high-quality video content for our clients. This is our first publicly posted full-time production position and an important next step for our team.
A significant part of this role is editing, but it is not exclusively a desk position. You’ll collaborate on larger productions and grow into independently leading smaller client shoots. We want someone who can make people feel comfortable and create shoots that feel organized, professional, and genuinely fun. Our clients should enjoy the experience as much as they value the finished video.
You may be a talented recent graduate ready to grow quickly, an experienced video professional looking for greater ownership, or a self-taught filmmaker with a strong portfolio. Your skills matter, but so do your character, professionalism, dependability, and willingness to learn.

- Film interviews, facility footage, commercial scenes, and other on-location content
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- Collaborate with our team during pre-production, production, and post-production

- Occasionally travel for regional and out-of-market projects

- The ability to receive feedback, solve problems, and take increasing ownership
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and availability to work from Poseyville

- Commercial, recruitment, or agency experience; motion graphics, color, sound design, photography, drone, or social content skills; FAA Part 107 certification.
