Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation are consistently maintained.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling and register operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist in food preparation, including assembling orders and managing food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety.
• Support the team by performing basic kitchen duties, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area is welcoming for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive energy.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous.
