Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling accurately.
• Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience, and manage food service customer order processing seamlessly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen equipment handling.
• Serve customers promptly at the counter or drive-thru, providing friendly assistance while managing multiple tasks in a quick service environment.
• Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Support food safety management by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling practices, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Proven customer service skills with an energetic attitude that fosters positive guest interactions.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management.
• Experience with retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn POS systems like Aloha or Micros is essential.
• Previous food safety or sanitation training is advantageous; certification in food handling or related areas is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
