We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to help support their operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the maintenance team on 2nd shift, keeping equipment and facilities running smoothly.
- Plan and manage preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Make sure tools, equipment, and systems are reliable and available when production needs them.
- Drive cost-effective maintenance practices and look for ways to improve efficiency.
- Coach and develop the maintenance team to ensure strong performance and engagement.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and enforce safety standards.
- Support budgeting and long-term equipment improvement plans.
- Be available for on-call support when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, especially in heavy manufacturing environments.
- Experience with systems like hydraulics, furnaces, or similar industrial equipment.
- At least a few years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (steel, automotive, forging, etc. is a plus).
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills.
- Comfortable working in a plant environment and handling off-shift responsibilities.
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
