Job Description:
- Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing estate planning documentation, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, trust resolutions, and agreements.
- Coordinate and manage beneficiary correspondence and related matters.
- Provide support in the administration of estates, including probate filings, asset transfer documentation, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file gift tax returns and assist with other tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with clients and external parties to facilitate the resolution of estate and trust issues.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Serve as a notary for necessary legal documents as required.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience supporting Trust Estates attorneys and/or practice groups.
- Advanced knowledge of estate planning processes, probate matters, and trust administration.
- Expertise in preparing and managing documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Strong proficiency with gift tax preparation and asset transfer documentation.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
