Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: Brenham, TX
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, educate patients and families, and coordinate discharge planning to maximize functional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide physical therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
- Modify therapy programs as needed to support recovery and functional improvement.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans and rehabilitation techniques.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
- Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers as needed.
- Follow evidence-based practices and applicable professional and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related qualifying field.
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligible compact license.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.
