Travel RN – Medical-Surgical (Nights)
Location: Chanute, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Medical-Surgical contract assignment in Chanute, Kansas. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of RN experience and be comfortable providing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting.
Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license or multistate compact license required at submission
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- AHA BLS certification required
- General medical-surgical nursing knowledge and skills
- Experience with Cerner charting
Schedule & Responsibilities
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
- Rotating holiday schedule
- Must be willing to float within scope of practice based on facility needs
- Potential opportunity for block scheduling
- May occasionally care for pediatric patients and assist with infusions
Contract Details: 13-week assignment with a brief orientation of approximately 1–2 days.
