In this role, you’ll support patients throughout their surgical care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, individualized care.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care.
- Explain care and provide instructions to patients and their responsible persons.
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records and meet applicable patient-care quality measure responsibilities.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace through professional communication and conflict management.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Need 1 year experience in setting.
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS certification, and ACLS certification required.
