Job Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and passionate about producing great food. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with our recipes, standards, and presentation expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and plate food items following Capone’s recipes and presentation guidelines
Work various line stations including pizza, sauté, salad, and sandwich prep
Ensure food is cooked properly, consistently, and served at the right temperature
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and proper food storage
Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house to ensure smooth service flow
Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
Support team with opening/closing duties and kitchen upkeep
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a line cook in a high-volume kitchen
Familiarity with pizza, Italian cuisine, or coal-fired cooking is a plus
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work efficiently
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
