Key Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
- Review application modifications daily and develop manual test scripts in Microsoft Word or Excel to ensure modified application code meets documented requirements and does not negatively impact existing functionality through regression testing.
- Execute manual test scripts within the application as assigned by the Department and update the status of assigned work items in the Department’s change and configuration management system.
- Document application defects daily in the Department’s change and configuration management system as assigned by the Department.
- Provide work estimates, communications, and status updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum activities within the timelines specified on assigned work tickets related to HMS application testing.
- Document application testing activities and identify issues within the timeframes specified on assigned tickets and store all documentation in the designated repository.
- Complete all required job training as assigned by the Department.
- Submit verification of completed training, such as certificates of completion or signed attendance sheets, as directed by the Department.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with Agile software development.
- 2 years of experience with software testing.
- 2 years of experience with software testing practices, including test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, black box testing, white box testing, regression testing, automated testing, integration testing, performance testing, user testing, and pilot testing.
- 2 years of experience writing test cases and test scripts.
- 2 years of experience executing software tests.
- 2 years of experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
