Job Overview:
The OCM Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of change for a large-scale cloud modernization program affecting multiple business units, enterprise processes, and technology platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring stakeholders are prepared, aligned, and supported throughout the transition from legacy systems and practices to modern, cloud-based capabilities.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive OCM strategy and roadmap aligned with the cloud modernization program's goals, timelines, and milestones
- Conduct stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and organizational risk evaluations
- Design and implement change management plans, including communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, training and enablement, and adoption measurements
- Partner closely with program leadership, project managers, business leads, and technical teams to ensure the successful integration of change activities into program delivery
- Create and deliver targeted communications, presentations, and leadership briefings
- Oversee training development, delivery planning, and end-user enablement efforts in coordination with training teams
- Establish metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor adoption, engagement, and readiness
- Use data to adjust strategies
- Manage resistance mitigation strategies, issue escalation paths, and feedback loops to drive sustained adoption
- Coach leaders and managers on their roles in driving organizational change
- Ensure OCM activities adhere to organizational standards, policies, and governance requirements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and stakeholders on change strategy, organizational alignment, and workforce transition impacts
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in OCM, business transformation, or enterprise program management.
- Demonstrated leadership in change management for large-scale, multi-year technology modernization or cloud migration initiatives.
- Proven experience developing and executing OCM strategies, communication plans, training plans, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.
- Strong background with enterprise-wide impacts across people, processes, and technology.
- Experience working within complex organizations with diverse stakeholder groups, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership.
- Hands-on experience with Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement (ADKAR), Prosci, or similar change management methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Organizational Development, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), or a related field.
- Formal change management certifications such as Prosci Change Management Certification, Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Society for Human Resource (HR) Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Society for HR Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) for change or HR integration.
- Project management or Agile certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Experience supporting government, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
- Prior experience with cloud modernization programs involving Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud transformations.
- Experience with digital transformation, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modernization, or enterprise adoption of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
- Skills in data-driven OCM measurement, analytics, or organizational readiness tools.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required.
Salary : $165,000 - $170,000
