Key Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload equipment such as pumps, hoses, pipe, manifolds and fittings, using forklifts, pallet jacks and rigger.
- Stage orders accurately from pick tickets; verify counts, sizes, and condition before dispatch and after return.
- Perform check-in and check-out inspections (visual condition, guards, couplings, strainers, clamps, gaskets).
- Inventory and organizational tasks (maintain bin locations and yard layout).
- Restock consumables, separate damaged items for repair or scrap.
- Support field crews with urgent pulls/returns and off-hour storm/flood response.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year(s) experience in construction, industrial rental, landscaping, or warehouse/yard environment preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, or willingness to learn. CPE will provide training and certification.
- A positive, go-getter attitude, willingness to learn, and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical requirements include: frequent lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling 50 – 75 pounds, repeated bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting and overhead work, climbing on/off trucks and trailers, walking/standing for extended periods, and working outdoors year-round.
- Regular use of personal protective equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, high-visibility vest, hearing protection, etc. required.
