We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for developing scalable, secure, and high-performing network architectures that support business growth, digital transformation, and cloud adoption strategies.The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Responsibilities: Design and maintain enterprise-wide network architecture (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud)Develop long-term network strategy aligned with business and IT objectivesLead modernization initiatives including cloud networking, zero-trust architecture, and automationEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoptionOversee deployment of complex network solutions across multi-site environmentsOptimize network performance, availability, scalability, and resilienceDesign high-availability and disaster recovery network solutionsEnsure seamless integration between on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environmentsArchitect secure network frameworks aligned with cybersecurity best practicesImplement segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, and secure remote access solutionsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, HIPAA, SOC 2 as applicable)Partner closely with security teams on risk mitigation strategiesProvide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineersServe as subject matter expert for complex troubleshooting and escalationsCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, DevOps, and application teamsEngage with vendors for solution evaluation, procurement, and lifecycle managementDevelop and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and best practicesEstablish governance models for network change management and capacity planningCreate technical roadmaps and present strategies to executive leadership.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)At least 8 years of progressive experience in network engineering/architectureExtensive experience with:Enterprise routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)Firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, etc.)SD-WAN technologiesCloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)VPN and remote access solutionsStrong understanding of:Network segmentation and Zero Trust architectureLoad balancing (F5, Citrix, etc.)Network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform)Experience designing high-availability, multi-site network environmentsDeep troubleshooting skills across L2–L7 networking layersStrategic thinking and architectural visionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExecutive-level communication skillsProject leadership and stakeholder managementVendor negotiation and cost optimization mindsetAbility to obtain a security clearance - US citizenship is requiredPreferred Qualifications:CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or Security)CCNP EnterpriseAWS/Azure Networking SpecialtyCISSP (preferred but not required)
