Caregiver

Capital City Oasis Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, professional, and punctual caregivers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others and are committed to providing exceptional, person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, safety, and an enhanced quality of life for our clients in the comfort of their homes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and quality care to clients.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and changing bed linens.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and encourage social interaction.
• Escort clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and community activities.
• Assist with medication reminders in accordance with company policy.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client observations.
• Follow each client’s individualized care plan.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every client.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and report incidents promptly.
• Communicate professionally with clients, family members, healthcare professionals, and office staff.

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
