Seeking a skilled Workday Finance Data Migration Developer to support the implementation of Workday Financials within a leading Insurance organization The role involves migrating complex financial data from PeopleSoft ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and aligning with insurancespecific financial operations
Key Responsibilities
Lead data migration efforts for Workday Financials implementation
Analyze PeopleSoft data and map data to Workdays Financial Data Model FDM
Collaborate with stakeholders from different functions Actuarial Underwriting Finance Compliance Data Providers etc to ensure accurate mapping
Design and develop data extraction and transformation processes on Azure that is resilient and auditable
Perform data cleansing and validation complying with regulatory and audit requirements such as NAIC IFRS 17 GAAP
Conduct mockpilot conversions and reconcile financial data including premiums claims beginning and closing balances expenses assets etc
Support cutover planning and postgolive
Document migration strategies data flows and reconciliation processes for audit traceability and compliance
Workday Functional Modules Involved Financial Accounting FDM Financial Data Model Ledger data AP AR Business Assets Expenses Customer and Supplier Accounts
Required Skills
Over all 10 years of experience with Financial ERP products such as Workday PeopleSoft SAP S4 HANA
5 years of experience with Workday Finance experience in Data Migration specifically from PeopleSoft to Workday Finance
Strong experience with Workday tools such as EIBs Workday Studio Cloud Connect to load data
Strong understanding of the Workday Finance functional modules
Strong skills in SQL Excel and data transformation tools on Azure
Experience with Workday Financials implementation lifecycle
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Understanding of regulatory frameworks
Ability to lead a team and project reporting"
