Instrumentation and Measurement Process Implementation for Fleet Vehicles
Daily analysis of overall activity to identify improvement opportunities
Maintenance of a reference file for all instrumentations, establishing a database of configurations based on vehicle type, architecture, and energy source
Vehicle Instrumentation and Measurements
Needs analysis and selection of appropriate measurement equipment (choice of data loggers based on specifications; selection of wiring harnesses)
Configuration setup according to the type of logger used
Vehicle instrumentation: installation of loggers and harnesses on electric vehicles (EV) or bench testing
Data acquisition
Data analysis
Report drafting
Creation of configurations (retrieved from the SIRI server) according to the vehicle’s architecture and powertrain
Writing of technical documentation
Technical support (Troubleshooting and issue resolution)
Execution of semi-automated DOVE procedures using a smartphone application
Tools / Skills:
VECTOR (CANalyzer, CANoe)
CAN, LIN
Vehicle architectures
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
A minimum of 5 years working experience
Strong knowledge of CAN, FD_CAN and ethernet protocols.
Electrical wiring and data logger interphase harness design.
Test execution and performance metrics: Proficiency in executing tests and calculating performance metrics, with programming skills in PWI, Python, C , or similar languages preferred
Good to have:
Testing methodologies: Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic architectures.
Testing and data collection tools: Experience in programming and querying vehicle networks and ECUs.
Automated testing: Ability to develop and implement configurations tailored to the vehicles under test.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $19.93/hour - $31.14/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
