As a C Linux Scripting Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining medical device software applications that run on Linux systems. Your role will involve designing, coding, testing, and debugging C applications, creating and maintaining various scripts to automate processes and tasks. You will work closely with the development team to implement new features and enhancements while ensuring the code is efficient, reliable, and scalable. This role requires strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and coding principles.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $76,000 - $110,000

Your role
- Own, create and deliver platform components, application development and analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to software team members during the development process.
- Conduct technical design reviews of software to ensure the reliability and performance.
- Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms.
- Ensure SDLC process compliance during requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and verification.
- Work effectively in an Agile scrum team and continuously improving the team’s performance.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
- Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables.
- Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure overall software quality through unit testing and verification of the system.
- 4 years industry experience in software development with C
- BS or above degree in Computer Engineering
- Documented experience with Microservices, NGINX, and Node JS
- Experience with Linux environment as well as C on Linux
- Hands on experience in Shell / Perl/ Python scripting.
- Familiarity with OS lifecycle management, RPMs, Nessus scan/ Vulnerability analysis
- Skillful in Object-oriented analysis and design
- Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
- Excellent global communication skill in English
- Experience in Build automation and continuous integration
