Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Lead with strong expertise in Playwright and API test automation using Postman. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Rest Assured, UFT, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins. This role involves working closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced agile environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI testing.
• Build and execute API test automation using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and API layers.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing UFT test suites as needed.
• Playwright - hands-on experience with test automation for web applications.
• Postman - advanced API testing and scripting.
• Rest Assured - Java-based API automation.
• UFT (Unified Functional Testing) - experience in maintaining and executing test scripts.
• GitHub Actions - experience in setting up and managing CI workflows.
• Jenkins - pipeline creation, test integration, and automation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and test management tools.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java for automation scripting.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on web and API testing.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Experience working with onsite-offshore model.
• Knowledge in Wealth Management Domain is desirable.
