What are the responsibilities and job description for the PeopleSoft Finance SME position at capgemini?
We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional Consultant to lead complex PeopleSoft Financials initiatives. This role requires functional knowledge of Finance modules combined with strong technical expertise in integrations. You will act as an individual contributor, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with business leaders to deliver strategic solutions.
Functional Analysis & Support:
Gather and analyse business requirements for PeopleSoft Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, AM, Purchasing, etc.).
Drive the Application Maintenance and support for above mentioned PS modules and integration with third parties.
Assist in month-end and year-end financial processes.
Technical Development:
Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations using People Tools, Application Designer, People Code, Component Interfaces,
Integration Broker, webservices (SOAP based, Rest based) and SQR.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, reports, and interfaces.
Integration & Reporting:
Maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems.
Develop reports using nVision, Crystal Reports, and BI Publisher.
Testing & Documentation:
Prepare test plans, execute unit testing, and support UAT.
Document technical designs, functional specifications, and user guides.
Collaboration & Client Relationship:
Work with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external vendors.
Provide end-user training and support.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
Understand client business objectives and align solutions to meet their needs.
Proactively address issues and escalate when necessary.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.30/hour - $61.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
