Role Summary:
Proven experience in migration installation and administration IBM Sterling suite of products especially on Linux/Unix platforms
Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling File Gateway SFG and or IBM Connect Direct
Strong knowledge of Sterling Secure Proxy SSP and Sterling External Authentication Server SEAS
Solid understanding of secure transfer protocols SFTP FTPS AS2 HTTPS SSH and Connect Direct CD Experience configuring and supporting trading partners business processes mail boxes routing rules channels and templates within the Sterling suite
Strong capability in production support including troubleshooting Root Cause Analysis RCA and implementing permanent fixes
Experience managing SSLTLS certificates and coordinating certificate renewals with third party Certificate Authorities CAs such as DigiCert
Knowledge of networking and security including cryptography concepts and datain transit protection
Ability to monitor performance and maintain High Availability HA and Disaster Recovery DR readiness
Strong collaboration skills with network firewall and load balancer teams to ensure stable and secure connectivity Willingness to provide24x7 on demand L3 support for critical production incidents
Experience implementing and supporting Native PGP GPG encryption for secure file transfers
Strong documentation skills for configurations operational procedures and incident resolutions
Experience with Python shell scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency
Strong communication analytical thinking prioritization and ownership mindset Buy rate 76 per hr Grade C1 or C2
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.13/hour - $54.90/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
