• Our company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join the UK Compliance team based in UK

• This position forms a vital part of a team that advises the worlds leading Financial Institutions and Fintechs on FCC laws regulations and best practices Compliance expands beyond AntiMoney Laundering AML and Sanctions Embargoes and includes AntiFraud and Investigations AntiBribery Corruption as well as other criminal offences affecting a financial organisation

• Consultants will work individually or in teams on a wide range of assignments across a diverse range of clients getting hands-on experience in developing analytical and technical skills to deliver high quality advisory risk assessment audit and assurance services

• This will includeundertaking thorough research and analysis participating in client interviews reviewing files and transactions and working alongside colleagues with expertise in financial crime compliance

• This is midlevel position for candidates with 5 years of relevant work experience Ideal candidates will have a good grounding in financial crime compliance and fraud and experience strong attention to detail are motivated flexible and adaptable and enjoy working in a team based and client focused environment We will support you to become an FCC subject matter expert via direct exposure to senior colleagues and critical projects

• We are particularly looking for candidates with experience in Internal Audit across nonFCC matters such as Operational Resilience and Consumer Duty as well as candidates who have experience working in payments or fintech firms across multiple jurisdictions

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a professional understanding of business regulation both consumer and market facing including antimoney laundering sanctions fraud antibribery and corruption governance and systems and controls

• Execute work programs through interviews review of available documentation and sample based testing

• Perform financial crime related end to end assessment activities for financial institutions with accuracy and in a timely manner

• Perform FCC investigations into permissibility of certain activities in line with UK EU and US regulatory requirements

• Evaluate adherence to applicable internal policy requirements and governance structures as well as relevant laws and regulations

• Assist in drafting reports and presentations that articulate the results conclusions of the review activities

• Assist on other strategic and tactical client projects to increase client offering

• Ensure proper and effective communication including developing reporting is in place

• Develop effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders

• Perform assigned work independently or within a small team with some guidance typically reporting to a more senior member of the team in a timely fashion
  
  

Knowledge Skills:

• Ability to quickly understand complex processes to identify and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key governance risk management and compliance controls in financial services large corporates and the public sector

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $24.56/hour - $38.38/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
