We are seeking an experienced Essbase Data Engineer with 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience and at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Essbase. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Essbase development, support, and optimization, along with exposure to modern data engineering technologies such as Python, Spark, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.
This role will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing Essbase cubes, supporting business planning and reporting processes, and integrating Essbase data with enterprise data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle Essbase applications and cubes.
Build and support Essbase calculation scripts, business rules, data load processes, and metadata management.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Essbase solutions.
Troubleshoot performance issues, data discrepancies, and system bottlenecks.
Support periodic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or equivalent technologies.
Work with data engineering teams to integrate Essbase with enterprise data platforms.
Participate in data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and support teams.
Required Skills:
Must Have:
5 to 7 years of overall IT experience.
1 to 2 years of hands-on Oracle Essbase experience.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.36/hour - $50.56/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
