Job Description
Seeking a Databricks Engineer with deep expertise in cloud platforms like Advisor360. Databricks, and modern data architecture to help design and build the next‑generation data foundation—covering Databricks Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, declarative pipelines, ingestion frameworks, ETF/MF data pipelines, and broader enterprise analytics capabilities.
Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or large-scale distributed data systems
- 6 years of experience in Databricks to master building ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data, manage data using Unity Catalog, and familiarity with all the new Databricks features such as LakeFlow, DLT, UC, and so on
- Expert-level experience with cloud platforms, Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and performance optimization
- Strong background in data modeling (dimensional, canonical, data vault, or domain-driven)
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction and deliver high-quality solutions in ambiguous environments
- Demonstrated experience translating complex business problems into scalable technical solutions
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with an emphasis on ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, DevOps workflows, and automated testing
