We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team for a major retail data transformation project. This initiative focuses on the Product and Customer domains to streamline operations and enhance data governance.
The ideal candidates will bring retail industry expertise, strong technical acumen, and a business-functional mindset to deliver impactful solutions for some of the most recognized retail brands, including Banana Republic, Gap, Athleta, and Old Navy.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end merchandising lifecycle, from product purchase to store sales and inventory planning.
Oversee data governance processes, ensuring robust metadata management and quality controls.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and deliver business-aligned solutions.
Provide expertise in retail systems, tools, and data pipelines.
Execute hands-on tasks for developing and maintaining business matrix libraries, metadata catalogs, and data quality rules.
Assist in implementing governance strategies and ensuring compliance with data standards.
Collaborate with the Senior Architect to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project goals.
Qualifications:
15 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on retail merchandising.
Proven expertise in technical design and data governance frameworks.
Familiarity with tools like Stibo (PIM), Profisee and Alation (metadata catalog).
Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $42.99/hour - $67.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
